Boon Choou is one of our contemporary Thai restaurant projects, tucked in a Melbourne CBD laneway, where warmth, material honesty, and quiet confidence shape the experience.

The interior celebrates rustic materials and craftsmanship, with tactile textures and subtle detailing that make the space feel grounded and approachable. A floating copper bulkhead, perforated timber ceiling, and open kitchen invite diners into the rhythm and artistry of cooking. Earthy tones, terrazzo, timber veneers, handmade tiles, and Thai woven mats create depth, authenticity, and continuity, bridging vintage character with industrial expression.
